| Maximize your efficiency with
a DLG crowd gate, an
effective way to increase cow throughput. The gate crowds cows from the holding area into the parlor, then sequences up and back over the next group, ready to move them ahead when the previous group is milked. Built tough for long life, the crowd gate is constructed of structural steel I-beams and reinforced with heavy steel angles, all galvanized for corrosion protection. A low- maintenance hydraulic unit is mounted on the gate carriage, motorizing the gate forward and back, with a cylinder to raise and lower the gate. A positive chain drive prevents slippage. The power unit includes an adjustable pressure relief valve to guard against cow injury. Dual controls are standard – one set for the parlor and another set on the gate carriage. |
